Over the past few months, I have been able to achieve a few of my CAS goals. For my action, I was able to burn 200 calories, and walk 3000 steps on the elliptical in 20 minutes, before my workout in November. I have since consistently kept up with this goal. Also, when I first started going to the Delbrook Recreation Centre Gym, last May, I was only able to lift 40 pound. Embarrassing right? I was a scrawny little twerp, and only started going because I needed a physical activity for Duke of Ed. Since then, I have now been able to increase my weights, while also doing more sets,  be able to to planks for double the time, and have also started going with friends, which boosts confidence, and I am now able to bench press, as I have a spotter. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to exercise with 100 lbs weights yet, but I am close! I hope that by the end of May, I will be able to to so.Screen Shot 2015-05-06 at 10.19.45 AM

For my minor service commitment, I am starting a club in association with the West Vancouver Streamkeeper Association. The club is sponsored by Mr. Moore, and I hope that we will be able to engage many kids. However, I have to speak at the assembly on January 28, and I am kind of nervous about that. Even though my goal is not completed yet, I am proud that I have taken some initiative to recreate the Streamkeepers club at Mulgrave and benefit the environment.
