We’ve returned from camp. The views were nice.
Goal 1: Make food that won’t give someone food poisoning.
Assessment: Nobody died from eating any food I prepared. I think I can safely say I met this goal.
Goal 2: Try hard.
Assessment: Many things on this hike were a challenge- climbing 8k up long switchbacks, facing my fear of heights and persuading a group of girls to switch tents with my group (there had been a mistake and our tent wasn’t big enough for everyone in my group). I think I met this goal.
Goal 3: Not get eaten by a bear.
Assessment: I didn’t get eaten by a bear. I think I met this goal.
Goal 4: Have Fun!
Assessment: I really liked this trip. It seems very Canadian that we have so much wilderness, glaciers, amazing views and wildlife so close to a major city.
