This year, I have already completed some of my activities that I planned on doing throughout this year. Soccer tryouts were hosted last Aril, which got me onto my current soccer team. Since June, my team has been practicing for 2 days a week for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Wednesday practices consist of 1 hour of regular drills, and 30 minutes of running, conditioning, and agility training. friday practices are coached by a volunteer coach sent by Burnaby Girls Soccer Club to coach every team the same drills. Every Sunday, our team plays a soccer game for around 1 hour and 30 minutes, plus a 45 minute warm up. My soccer season ends after we finish all of our cup games (and hopefully win). Soccer is my major action commitment for this year. Volleyball season started off with tryouts on the first day of school. Our team practiced for 1 hour and 45 minutes on Tuesday mornings, and on Fridays after school for 1 hour. We had games once or twice every week. School basketball tryouts were held in November. My team practices on Mondays after school for 1 hour and 30 minutes and Friday before school for 1 hour. I hope to have a lot of fun, injury- free play time with these activities, and I hope to stay balanced while doing so.
