Spring Break 2K15

Over the spring break, my family went over to the southern-east coast of the united states. We went to hot, sunny Orlando, Florida. We stayed at the Four Season Resort at Disney World. We went to all the 4 different places for each day (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom) and on our final day we went back to our favourite one. We went on many rides and some of my personal favourites were Tower of Terror (Twilight Zone), Splash Mountain, Expedition Everest. We also did 2 games of mini putt. Florida was lots of fun and I am excited to be going again later in my upcoming years.

Acrobatics Exam Tricks

Down below are some tricks that I had to do for my acro exam back in late December. The first I combined two of the tricks which was a “front handspring” but instead of landing on my feet I landed sitting/laying down to go back into a “dolphin roll”. Then the next trick is called an “upstart” which is when you start sitting up with your legs straight then roll back onto your shoulders, put your hands beside your ears and push up off the ground to land on your feet. Finally, the last trick is “circling splits” which is when you are in the splits and then you bring your front leg around to meet with your back leg, push up onto your hands to swing the same leg back over to the front.

Pink Day

This years pink day is supporting LGBTQ families. I believe LGBTQ people should be allowed to do what want to do and live their own life as any other person as any other neutral person would be like. They should not be treated/judged by ho they like or who they want to be. I also believe that transgenders should be allowed to use the bathrooms of the gender they become and not the gender people think they are just by appearances.


“Can’t I fly helicopters AND be an oceanographer who writes songs and cooks?” It’s a big world out there – perhaps even a little too big. ENFPs are fascinated by new ideas, both in terms of developments in fields they are already familiar with, and when new subjects come along. The trick for people with the ENFP personality type is to take advantage of this quality, this wonder with the magnificent breadth and detail in the world, and to use it to propel themselves further and deeper than others are willing or able to go.


Today in Life and Learning we took a survey to see what we were most like and I had ENFP.


Short Term Goals Term 2

My new short term goals for term two is:

My first goal is still adding on from my term 1 goal which was studying better for test *around a week before the test happens* and I also have another short term goal which is reading for 30 minutes every night, because I had that as a short term goal last year, but if did not work out very well, but now without that goal I have been wanting to read for 30 minutes every night. So knowing that I could put that as a goal for my term 2 is something that would help me with my reading skills.

Short Term Goal Reflection

My short term goal was to prepare/study better for tests. I feel like I have half completed this goal because I did well on studying for the test for each subject. However I could have reviewed more the parts on reviewing for the test that I was not good at instead of reviewing (mostly) the parts that I already knew.

Stop the Complaining

Today in Life and Learning were talking about how to stop; gossiping, judging, negativity, complaining, excuses, exaggerating/lying, dogmatism and to start being; honest, authentic, integrity, and love. We were to write about one of the following negative things we do often and we are going to try and stop doing it or not do it as much. I decided on talking about complaining.

I do some of the negative things above the most I do is complaining. The most time when I complain when someone tries to make me do something that I don’t want to do. I want to shorten the amount on me complaining because most of the time when someone tells me to do something it is a good reason for me to do it and instead I just don’t want to and I get lazy. I know that everything that most people want me to do is for a good reason so just knowing that people want to help me should be a great feeling and I shouldn’t complain as much anymore.

Report Card Term 1

Last Thursday I received by term 1 report card. I was a little bit surprised (in a good way) on some of the marks that I got. I had all 5’s in my subject except for two 4’s in performing arts and english. I was 2 marks away from the honour roll. In order to reach my goal by the end of the year (get on honour roll) I will need to improve on my english and performing arts. Also since I now have DT I have to have a backup fro how to get the honour roll. My other goals in order to get on the honour roll is to try and get a 6 in both PE and Math because than incase I get any 4’s it won’t effect me getting on the honour roll. Overall, the 1st term was quite successful and I am excited for the upcoming term.

Study Habits

For our Life and Learning class today we talked about our study habits on positives and negatives. Some of my positives are:

* take breaks between studying (study for around an hour and then take a break then study for like 45- to an hour and then take a break, and then study for an hour)

*make a schedule for my studying time so I organize how long I am going to study for a subject (such as an hour for science, 30 minutes for math, 15 minutes for english, 30 minutes for socials)

*having healthy snacks


Something I can improve on for studying is spreading out my time for studying for test so I am not cramming it all up in one night.
