This Halloween Mulgrave’s Upper School is scaring away hunger, supporting #refugees and helping the homeless by hosting an Orange and Black Civvies and Costume Day, Haunted House and costume contest. To participate in these scary Halloween activities, you are kindly asked to bring in one or more of the following on Wed Oct 31:

  1. a toonie to support Mulgrave’s Club 360 and #SyrianRefugees
  2. nonperishable food items for kids (soup, single serving KD, Chef Boyardee or brown bean meal cans, snack bars, juice boxes, oatmeal)
  3. Scarves, mitts or hats to support homeless shelter drive by STA St Thomas Aquinas

These must be dropped off when you enter the school in the morning at our scary reception table as you ticket to join the Halloween festivities.

This year we are again supporting Admiral Seymour Elementary School via Backpack Buddiesa local Syrian Refugee family through the 360 Campaign and homeless shelters, in collaboration with St Thomas Aquinas High School, North Vancouver.

REMEMBER: Costumes must be “cool for school”. If you are uncertain if your costume is “cool for school”, it probably isn’t appropriate. You can also talk to your advisor teacher, divisional vice principal or principal to get feedback.

This student-led #socialgood engagement event is sponsored by the Service Action Council (SSAC and MSAC) and Club 360. Contact leads Luna W G11 wangl@mulgrave.com (SSAC), Ellyana B G9 (MSAC) or Anna E G12 for more information.
