Wednesday, April 17 is Do1Give Day at Mulgrave! This is the first year we’re participating in this event created by 365give and the West Vancouver Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Council. The event has now expanded to include schools across BC. Your HeadsUp and Global Nomads are sponsoring the event, spearheaded by Pegah A G12.
The idea is for everyone to do one small act of kindness for others or for the environment (a “give”) on April 17. There will be a poster outside the cafeteria where you can put up one sticky note for every give you do. Be sure to share your gives using #TagUrIt and #Do1Give!

Our focus this year is on recycling. We’ll be having 2 special bins from Hanks Christmas Glitter in the cafeteria on April 17 where you can dispose of refundables (bottles, cans, etc.) during recess and lunch. Feel free to bring your own refundables from home too. Money from the refundables will be used to provide financial support for the less fortunate in our local communities, which includes the homeless. Each item added counts as a give.

This event supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Responsible Consumption and Good Health and Well-Being!

Happy giving!
