UNITY (1918) MIDDLE SCHOOL PLAY

Posted on February 23, 2020February 23, 2020 by awilson

Mulgrave’s Middle School Students (Grades 7-9) are proud to present Unity (1918)

The play is set in Canada in the latter stages of World War I, highlighting the value of human connection, relationships, and support during difficult times. The play, chosen at the start of the year, is all the more timely for the parallels we might draw between the Spanish Flu of 1918, which features in the production, and our current circumstances with Coronavirus. This offers cast, crew and audiences alike an opportunity to reflect upon the historical context to contemporary events, whilst enjoying a wonderfully realised piece of theatre.
