1. What is something you accomplished this term that you are proud of?

I’m proud of having finished term one and starting term two with a more engaged attitude towards working at school and outside of school. To be honest, there is no achievement of which I am especially proud, because my ninth grade year has been quite the same (in terms of achievements) since the first day of school in autumn. I suppose I could say that I’ve come out of my generic boredom and am willing to try harder at school.

2. What was the most challenging part of this term for you?

I found it challenging to stay on top of my school work. I had so many assignments due nearly simultaneously that I found it hard to complete each one to the best of my creative abilities. After winter break, I feel more ready to take on learning challenges such as simultaneous projects and/or assignments.

3. If you could change one thing that happened this term, what would it be?

If I could change something that happened this term, I would change the fact that I did not challenge myself to work at various things over the breaks we were given. More specifically, I wish I had read the first 100 pages of Life of Pi (for English novel studies) during November break like I was supposed to; it would have helped me understand the story better. Instead, I decided not to mostly because I was unsure of the task. If I could change this happening, I would push myself to read more over the breaks (in general).
